What is it all about?

The first task is for, myke (that lazy bastard!), to train up to run the Singapore Marathon 2008! The date hasn’t been confirmed yet, but the unofficial date is December the 12th 2008.

In short, a crazy entrepreneur :) who is currently based in South East Asia

What is myke running for?

Charity :) and of course for himself. He wants to know that he can do and finish the 26 mile run! :P

If its 26 miles - then why is the blog titled “8 Miles & Running”?

Obvious Question! Duh! Its from one of his fav films, Eminem - 8 Mile.. and “8 Miles & Running” is from the sound track :)

Ok- back to topic - what Charities?

I am not sure yet. Initially i was going to dedicate the Charity Choices to two people who have had big influences on my life - Bobo and TrevorD :) But plans, may have changed due to other factors.

What figure are you trying to raise?

I started off thinking with, £1000.. but then I thought why can’t I aim higher. So lets go for £10, 000 please! ;)

What preparation is required for the marathon run?

To be honest, i have no CLUE! someone help! lol :) All i know is that I have at least 6 months to prepare! :)

How fit is myke?

I need to get back in shape - does that answer the question! I can run on the running machine for 30 minutes and still stand - does that count ;)

So here is the beginning of bigger things.
